About
A small company that writes software for roofing contractors, and is honest about how far along it is.
You will be dealing with the person who writes the code. Not an account manager who relays it to somebody else, and not a queue.
That is worth saying plainly because it is the part that does not scale, and it is the part you are buying. A bigger vendor can outspend this on features. None of them can put you on the phone with the person who wrote the screen you are complaining about.
One summer in 2020 I was working for a roofing company, United Roofing Restoration, helping translate information from the crews. What that gave me was a seat on both sides of it. The owner talked to me about his company at length and without much filter, and I spent the rest of the time around the people doing the work. That is exposure, not experience, and I am not going to call it anything else.
I graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2026, where I studied biology and Portuguese. Portuguese is where the name came from. I currently serve in the Space Force. I speak Spanish, which is worth more on a roof than either subject I studied. I am based in Colorado.
None of that makes me a roofer. If what you want is a vendor whose founder spent fifteen years in the trade, that is not me. What matters more is what this company provides: one system that holds a job from the estimate through to the money arriving, on a domain you own, shaped to the way the company already runs, and somebody who keeps building on it long after it goes live. There are two ways to judge that without taking my word for anything. The evaluation, which you can take without speaking to anyone. And the system itself, which you go through on the call.
01 / The name
From ponte, Portuguese for bridge. The name was chosen before the argument on the front page was written, and then the two turned out to be the same idea: a bridge is what you build across a gap, and the gaps between your tools are exactly where the work falls through.
02 / Being early
It means you will get more attention than you would from an established vendor, and less proof. Both of those are real, and which one matters more depends on the company you run.
What it does not mean is that you are carrying the risk on your own. Your data is yours from the first day, exportable in a format you can use, including the day you decide to leave. If this does not work out, you leave with everything you put in.
